About
I am a Montreal-based writer and editor studying English Literature at Concordia University, with a minor in Professional Writing. I served as Assistant Arts and Culture Editor and later Arts and Culture Editor for The Concordian, Concordia’s student-run newspaper.
I am a creative and detail-oriented storyteller with a strong editorial foundation. My work spans creative writing, cultural journalism, and editorial production, with experience in CP-style editing, grammar and syntax, structural and stylistic revisions, and refining clarity, flow, and voice for publication.
Shaped by a multicultural background, including Syrian heritage, my writing and editorial approach are informed by an interest in culture, identity, and storytelling across contexts. I learned to pitch compelling story ideas, approach subjects from multiple perspectives, and adapt my writing and editing style to suit different audiences and formats.
I am interested in opportunities within publishing, magazines, and editorial spaces that value thoughtful storytelling, strong craft, and collaborative creative work.
